They’re back. After being allowed to march freely through Exeter three times in the last few months, of course they’re back.
Before we talk about their laughable messaging, let’s talk about the people behind the poster.
- David Tate, “a racist jailed for making his neighbours life living hell”.
- Nigel Murfin, twice convicted of harassing women, admitted racist, member of fascist party Britain First, and currently on bail for racial abuse.
- Pete Heal, who performs cut-throat gestures at vulnerable women and children.
- Jamie Waters, admitted Nazi and member of Blood & Honour.
- Matt Dean, who openly admits to being an “ethno-nationalist racist”
- Nick Hubble, recently arrested for attacking an antifascist in Exeter.
- Frankie Rufolo, who burned a Quran in an Exeter pub.
- Thomas Dunn, who was questioned by police for wearing a niqab in a ‘ban the burqa’ protest in a department store, and trying to force his way into the local Mosque.
- Jordan Rowe, who recently declared ‘WAR’ on ‘antifa’, and travelled to Manchester to attend a march of the fascist party, Britain First.
Need we go on? These people are racists, fascists, and in some cases, neo-Nazis.
The messaging itself;
Protect Our Country’s Future – what do they mean by this? It’s pretty clear if you look at their previous event in Exeter, where they marched behind a banner stating ‘mass deportations now’. “Deport the brown people” is the message behind the message.
Protect Our Kids – this is rich, considering the long list of far-right sex offenders. Just this week, another one was convicted. These people don’t care about children – in fact, they’re using children as an excuse to further their racist cause. It’s utterly shameful.
Free Speech – Unless you don’t agree with it, right lads? It’s only fair of course, we don’t believe in free speech for fascists, because you represent an ideology of violence that seeks to crush us all.
British Values – As fascists always do, they’re harking back to an imagined myth of the past, where Britain was white, and Christian, and everything was ‘OK’. These boot lickers have swallowed the propaganda in billionaire owned media, and are now blaming other poor people for their worsening living conditions instead of the real enemy – the rich.
The rest of the AI-generated waffle on that poster doesn’t even warrant a response.
The fact that they’re now encouraging masks after we’ve managed to ID almost every single one of them is just beautiful. A huge win for the research group and local crews.
